Det må till en början mest låta knaster, sprak, knorr och brus om Mattias Skölds skiva Taroom, ljud som känns instinktivt aptitliga och sänder elektriska stötar av välbehag rakt igenom kroppen. Men i djupet framträder snart en mörkt pulserande hjärtslagsliknande bas som med imponerande sömlöshet väver samman de till synes slumpmässiga ljuden till intrikata rytmmönster.
